Introducing….
Super Sammy!!! I’m so excited to get this guy done. I can’t believe his pattern is finally finished! I feel like I’ve been working and reworking him over and over for so long. (my health has also been super bad the past couple months so that certainly didn’t help.)
Through the years I’ve noticed that it is particularly hard to find sewing patterns for little boys. Do you know what I mean? I’ve been so excited to post this pattern on my site because he completes the ‘Big Three’.
Yes, that is a term I made up.
You know, the three main things that the little guys in our lives love; Cars/trucks, Dinosaurs and Super Heros. I swear if you talk to any little boy under 5 he will love one of those three. With the addition of Sammy I officially have a pattern for each of them! Woohoo for little boys!
I’m certainly not done with the ‘Boy’ category. My car category definitely needs to be filled out with a great train pattern. And I have so many ideas to expand upon in the super hero category. But for now I’m just excited they are all represented.
Next on the list? I’m thinking a fairy. (I’ve been focusing so long on little boys that my girl category is a bit sparse) But I’ll just have to wait to see before I’m sure. That’s the crazy thing about working in a creative field, you just can’t force creativity so I’ll just have to take whatever my creativity brings 🙂
