Making Mini Dino Christmas Ornaments

November 1, 2013

When I was little my mom and I had a tradition of Christmas ornament hunting.  Every year we'd head over to the Hallmark store the day after Christmas (because they'd be 50% off!) and I'd get to pick out my own ornament for the year.  My ornament collection lived in a box in my closet until I got my own home.  It was so fun to pull out all the ornaments and see all my picks from throughout the ... Reducing the Size of Printed Patterns

November 1, 2013

Reducing the size of your printed pattern is easy, but it does require access to a copy machine.  My printer has a scanner attached, so I'm able to do this from home.  If yours doesn't, (or if you have no idea how to make it work!) you'll have to head out and find a copy machine.  I usually use the ones at my public library or a print center like Staples or Kinkos.  The added bonus to going out is ... Eight or so days ago, I was having FUN.  :) For the past few years, Doug's family has had a family reunion in October.  The first year started off with a bang.  Mainly because for some random reason a big group of us adults wanted to plan a Harry Potter party.  We swore it was for the kids... but let's ... Hot Pink Zebras

October 23, 2013

I've been having so much fun making our Harry the Horse pattern into hot pink zebras!  I mean, how could you not smile after making one of these?  I have to admit, I'm especially in love with the blinged up version.  I mean, how have I not made a toy with rhinestone buttons before now? The variations are pretty easy to make, I just thought I'd share the changes I made so you can convert your own ... View Post
